On August 24, the LI Chapter had a rally out to the Pridwin Hotel on Shelter Island which is between the north and south forks of the east end of Long Island. It is only accessible by ferry. We had 39 Ferraris join in for the ride out there. First we met at a rest stop on the Long Island Expressway then rallied out to Greenport to catch ferries out to Shelter Island. John Aalto, our LI chapter president, arranged it so we were able to fill up two ferries to cross Shelter Island Sound to get to the Pridwin. Once we were there we parked in our own reserved area and a lavish buffet was waiting for us. We had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the views. The weather was perfect and the venue was even better. We will certainly be back next year!
