The Weather Gods shined on the Hudson Valley Chapter for the inaugural Cavallini e Cafe event of 2024 on April 7 at Eastdale in Poughkeepsie, NY. There were some great cars in attendance ranging from a 1983 512 BBi to a 2023 812 GTS. We had new club members attend along with a potential member who brought his 400i. There was much discussion about the recent engine restoration on the 512 down to the examination of the hose clamps used by the rebuilder. The full range of ages was represented in the attendees from a preschooler who arrived in “his” 348 Spider to many of us beyond retirement age.
